 1. I thought I'd start the beginning of this series with a story of my own. So here, I'm not a spiritual
person, but this is an occurence I couldn't help but find unexplainable if not, even SUPERNATURAL...so here it is.. the very first entry to the list of scary real stories from real life... One particular night, I was getting ready for bed when I noticed my toothbrush was nowhere to be seen. Usually, I kept it in my room (to receive sunlight after I brush) and rarely store it in the bathroom as I find the practice quite unhygienic. So then I looked into my bathroom, it also wasn't there... I thought, maybe it was just in my room and I forgot! Yeah! So i went back into my room, surprise surprise IT WASN'T THERE EITHER! I was stumped, I'm the type of person who meticulously looks after all her belongings, making sure they don't get lost, so how could this happen? I reached a hypothesis, it must've been my SISTER! I made sure I didn't miss it, I looked under the bed, looked under the drawer, REORGANIZED MY VANITY, and checked the bathroom AGAIN. It was NOWHERE, so I had to brush my teeth with my fingers. I went to bed with anger towards my sister that night... The next morning, before I even entered the bathroom, I began scavenger hunting for my toothbrush, maybe it was in my mom and sister's bathroom? Her drawers? I couldn't find a trace of my beloved tootbrush, I got angry but when I entered my bathroom, I saw my toothbrush, just sitting there, in the usual place I place it, but... someone put it backwards? It was facing the mirror instead of me.. strange, I chalked it up to my sister feeling guilty and putting it back. I was still mad and started writing in my diary about how annoying her stupid pranks were, when she came back home from her walk with my mom, I confronted her. I asked her why she would do this when she knows how important my belongings are to me, she looked at me more annoyed than confused and told me "I didn't do it, I don't even know where you keep your toothbrush!" which is technically correct, since just the day before my mom was asking her to find a specific shampoo bottle in each bathroom, she probably went in my bathroom and realized I don't even keep my toothbrush in there... I thought she was lying to me, so I kept shouting at her to tell me the truth and to stop lying for no reason, but she genuinely had the look of confusion on her face when I kept pestering. I soon realized she was not behind it, it started making no sense. If she wasn't behind it... then who was? I asked my mom what the hell might've been the cause, she said something about "parallel universes crossing paths" yeah, some malarkey off of facebook, but she then posited there might be another entity living with us. It felt impossible, I like ghosts and scary stories, but I've never experienced something like this before, and I didn't think I would... turns out, I HAVE had a mysterious experience like this before, it was when I randomly lost my bluetooth earbuds, I thought maybe I forgot them inside my dad's car, no big deal, so I forgot about it, a few weeks later my mother called me over and told me my sister found the earbud case along with the earbuds in her drawer. SO weird! I thought, I didn't even tell them about the lost earbuds + case, but I shrugged it off, I was busy at the time with exams so I couldn't look into this very strange "things disappearing and reappearing in a weird place or with nonsensical logic" case, so I eventually forgot. But this toothbrush incident happened not too long ago and reignited the memory. Is it possible something else is living with us? A stalker? A ghost? Parallel universes? Carbon monoxide poisoning? The most earthly sounding; carbon monoxide poisoning, is just not possible, and the stalker thing doesn't work either since our apartment is quite small. Not to mention tough security watching almost every move of unfamilar individuals who enter the complex. I have a theory to this, it might be that some ethereal or ghostly entities started living in our room when we were on winter holidays for a whole week, and when we came back they weren't done with their business here yet, so they were doing strange things in our room...uhh for whatever reason...
